Oilers need a centre...what if the jets eat a good portion of oli's contract and send him off for a second rounder. Noel is giving oli every benefit of the doubt to prove himself, but I'd be shocked if schiefele isn't our second line centre. O'dell may even be a better 3 line option till lowery gets some more games under him in st.john's.

I'd do that but I don't see the Jets eating salary to do it. Actually don't see them doing it at all but it would be a good idea.

Maybe it will change when they get a coach who has actually has some answers instead of just more questions of his own. He's a good interview sometimes but the guy has never got answers to anything.

This is pretty frustrating. No compete and a failed structure. Unless they genuinely plan on cycling 2nd-4th line players all year from St. John's, we are a significant step behind entering the regular season.

Noel is starting to piss me off. EVERYONE can see that Kane and Joker don't work so quit pissing aroung with it and let Sheiffle have a chance to develop some chemistry with him before the season gets going. The one glaring weakness for Sheiffle is the dot.
